This case study explores 3D product visualisation of Ooni pizza ovens, including Koda, Karu and Volt models, created for marketing campaigns, social media and e-commerce product pages.

Project Overview

This project presents a series of cinematic 3D product renders of Ooni pizza ovens, created to support marketing, e-commerce and social media campaigns.

The goal was to produce clean, commercial-ready product visuals suitable for:

  • Product detail pages (PDP)
  • Marketing campaigns and launch visuals
  • Social media promotions
  • E-commerce listings

Each render focuses on accurate materials, clear product visibility and consistent brand presentation, replicating the quality of professional product photography.

The Challenge

The main challenge was to present multiple Ooni pizza oven models in a clean, consistent and realistic way.

Key objectives included:

  • Clearly communicate the shape and structure of each oven
  • Recreate realistic materials such as powder-coated steel and stainless steel
  • Maintain neutral, commercial studio lighting
  • Ensure visual consistency across all product models

The final images were designed to match real product photography standards rather than stylised 3D artwork, making them suitable for marketing and e-commerce use.

Improving Product Presentation Through 3D Visualization

Some original studio images for models such as the Ooni Volt 12 and Karu 2 were limited by fixed camera angles and less controlled lighting.

This made it difficult to:

  •  Clearly show the full oven shape
  •  Highlight key design elements
  •  Present the product with a strong commercial impact

By recreating the ovens in 3D product visualisation, it became possible to control camera angles, refine lighting and improve product clarity.

The updated renders focus on:

  • Strong 3/4 product angles
  •  Clean silhouettes
  • Better visibility of the oven opening and controls
  • A balanced, premium presentation

Process Part C: Materials and Texturing

Each oven model contains a range of materials, including:
